Convert was founded in 2000. our sole purpose - making recycling easy. Conceived, developed and built in the uk, the convert bin is the result of three years research and development.
Frustrated by the ineffectiveness of conventional containers, our designers set out to rethink recycling. the aim -to make it as effortless as it should be without compromising on form. Convert makes household and business recycling work.
In designing the convert, we addressed the key problems associated with recycling
- Space - most people lack the room to store recyclables
- Form - bags and boxes are too untidy
- Effort - recycling is too much hard work
- Hygiene - open containers can leave odours
the stacking system allows these high capacity containers to be easily stored while retaining a small footprint, designed for the home or business where space is always at a premium.
separate modules for each type of waste ensures simplicity of use. the system can be used with or without a liner for your convenience. waste contamination is virtually eliminated and odours contained by the self closing lid.
each unit has a 37 litre capacity - enough for 15 bottles of wine or....two weeks worth of newspapers or....50 aluminium cans.
Three units provide enough storage for all the recyclables generated by the average 4 person household - for a week
