What is environmentally friendly? Well I suppose anyone reading this will already know but what about those who don’t? Three years ago I didn’t know what it meant, I’d heard the phrase, eco warriors had sprung to mind and I’d dismissed it as being one of those things that I don’t do. I prefer to consider myself Holistic, I didn’t know what that meant either - pretty ignorant aren’t I? So how do we learn or more to the point how do we teach? People with less than green gardens in the South East of England are being invited to take part in an eco-makeover garden show. Gardens will be chosen on their neglect of basic eco-principles and each garden on the show will be given one major new feature to improve sustainability.
