What do we do?

Recycle waste carpet and transform it into a plywood style material.

How we do it?

Using our european patented technologies, htc is created by heating unused polypropylene carpet in a hydraulic heat press where the fibers melt and bond.

Carpet burns history HTC (heat treated carpet), was invented by kelly atkins, while ironing clothes on a carpeted floor, she melted the carpet and realized it left a hard surface!
It was at this show last year that carpet-burns launched its new product material htc (heat treated carpet) where we were awarded special commendation by riba journal.

Coming up carpet-burns is pleased to be exhibiting again at 100% detail 2006, with a fun and exciting stand displaying the uses and potentials of htc. The show runs from 21-24 september 2006. We hope you will join us there.
