The Smith Edison is the world's first 3.5t higher function electric vehicle.
Based on an iconic chassis configuration, Edison offers the payload and range capabilities needed for urban van and light commercial vehicle operations, but with none of the emissions, noise, rattle or gear changes that come with a diesel. The Smith Edison accelerates from 0-30mph much quicker than a diesel vehicle.
The Edison provides a top speed of up to 50mph, a payload of up to 1338kg and a range on one battery charge of up to 150 miles. A GVW of less than 3.5t means that your drivers do not require a Class C licence.

Adding Value and Lowering Costs
Edison reduces costs through savings on maintenance and fuel. It also qualifies for a free Road Fund Licence and is exempt from the London Congestion Charge.
